Compare the weekly cost and the move-in cost
Rent is checked on Saturday at or after 09:00 on the Lagos game clock, once for that day when the simulation advances. Owning a home, paid advance rent, a player lease or Daddy’s supported rent can change the charge. Check all homes and outstanding rent rather than budgeting for the displayed current home alone.
A normal rental move uses two weeks’ advance plus one week’s agent fee, for a total of 3 × weekly rent. That is a one-time moving payment, not a three-times recurring weekly rent. The owned-home exception has no rental move-in fee. Clear rent arrears and finish work/travel before moving; student eligibility applies to the UNILAG hall.

Mushin’s Face-me-I-face-you rents at ₦2,400 a week; Yaba’s Self-contain at ₦6,000. The recurring difference is ₦3,600 every week, and the normal later rental move-in totals are ₦7,200 versus ₦18,000. Choose for the weekly bill as well as today’s balance. The student hall costs less but has student eligibility and a separate study system.
Check the home before confirming
- Read the home’s current rent and availability on your character.
- Separate the moving payment from the next recurring bills, including LAPO installments if applicable.
- Check its facilities. Mushin’s starter includes a mattress, kerosene stove, cooler, water drum, bucket and toilet. Yaba has a Vono bed. Lekki includes a gas cooker, fridge, sofa, TV, shower and toilet.
- Think about which facilities need power. The Shower activity is powered; Bucket Bath provides a simpler home alternative.
- Confirm the move and check the resulting home and balance. A card you viewed is not a completed move.
Setup data also carries a money field; it is starting cash, not the property’s buying price. This table’s moving payment is derived from the normal rental rule. Owning, leasing, arrears and special circumstances can change what your own screen shows.
