Make one manageable first session

  1. Open the official game, sign up or log in, and finish the character creator. Its five stages are Look, Personality, Dream, Birth lottery and Home. Choose the available traits and dream, then read your assigned origin before selecting housing.
  2. Pick a starting plan that matches the result below. The origin is assigned to the account; restarting a character is not a supported way to choose a different result.
  3. Check your cash, current home and six needs. At home, tap the appropriate object, choose its activity and read the requirement: Sleep on a bed, Use Toilet on a toilet, Bucket Bath on a bucket or a suitable cooking action on the stove. Shower needs power in the current definition.
  4. Open Phone → Jobs. The current Jobs app lists 1-hour shifts, any time, entry requirements and working days. Choose an eligible role through Apply — start tomorrow, or read the confirmation before switching an existing job.
  5. On a workday, use 💼 Go to work when it appears. The current implementation allows manual attendance between 06:00 and 22:00 on the Lagos clock, subject to your state and workplace city. The Go automatically checkbox in Jobs is an optional attendance setting; its automatic path still follows career scheduling conditions.
  6. Complete the shift, then read the result. It separates pay, tax, performance and promotion or grade progress. A selected job is not a completed shift.
  7. Keep the next rent and any loan repayment available before optional spending. You can use Help at the Buka at Amala Shitta for a current base reward of ₦1,750; its 90-game-minute activity also lowers fun and hygiene. Train one skill that helps your chosen career once the immediate bills and needs are covered.

If you rolled LAPO Baby

The current origin definition adds a ₦60,000 loan, with ₦72,000 total debt and ₦12,000 weekly installments. It raises Hustle to at least level 2 and gives a 25% skill-learning advantage. Your selected starter home has its own base cash; the loan is added to it. A Lagos Mushin base of ₦16,000 therefore becomes ₦76,000 before spending, while Yaba’s ₦36,000 becomes ₦96,000. These are derived setup totals, not free money without debt.

Start with a home whose rent you can cover, restore urgent needs, and take a job you can attend. The current starter options are Mushin or Yaba in Lagos, Kubwa or Gwarinpa in Abuja, and Rumuokoro or D-Line in Port Harcourt. A cheap home gives you room for food, fares and the loan. The loan collector checks at or after 10:00 when seven days have passed since the last payment; it is not automatically the same day as Saturday rent. Missing an installment adds 10% of that installment to the remaining debt. Use the balance and repayment date shown for your own life.

If you rolled Nepo Baby

The origin provides ₦500,000 pocket money, a Prado, furnished housing with Daddy’s rent support and Charisma 2. Its starting home and job follow the city: a Lekki flat with Branch Manager I in Lagos, a Wuse 2 apartment with Senior Admin Officer I in Abuja, or a Woji apartment with Drilling Engineer I in Port Harcourt. Their derived baseline full-shift pay is ₦27,400, ₦22,600 and ₦27,000 respectively, before other pay adjustments.

Keep the existing job and learn its attendance controls before changing careers. Fuel, everyday purchases and optional upgrades still spend money. Daddy’s rent support is an origin perk with conditions: the current rent logic makes you pay while a Daddy debt is outstanding. The head start makes experimenting easier, but it does not make every new home or purchase affordable.

If you choose the UNILAG student option

The creator also exposes a Hall of Residence option for UNILAG students in Lagos. Its baseline rent is ₦1,200 a week and setup cash ₦14,000; the student system lists a ₦3,000 Monday allowance. This is a study/home path with course, fees and attendance rules, rather than another origin to reroll. Read the current student controls before choosing it.
